Safety Policy (SHE)
Eduardo Construction recognises the importance of protecting the health and safety of our employees, clients, and contractors. At Eduardo Construction we will use innovative process design and technology to turn SHE challenges into opportunities for our clients, while caring for the environment of the communities in which our clients and we operate. 

Our Scope:

Fabrication, erection and refurbishment of mechanical plant and equipment, structural steel and piping systems; supported by the provision of specialist skills and flexible employment services. 

Our Standards:

  • To provide a healthy and safe workplace.
  • To strive for zero accidents, near misses, injuries and occupational illnesses.
  • To design clean, quiet, safe sustainable facilities for our clients. 

Implementation: 

To fulfil the intention of this Policy, we will endeavour to:
  • Manage SHE risks by implementing systems to identify, assess, monitor and control hazards.
  • Meet or exceed all applicable environment, health, fire and safety Jaws and regulations.
  • Promote sustainable development by integrating SHE in all relevant decision-making.
  • Operate our own facilities in a safe, efficient, environmentally sensitive manner.
  • Develop and disseminate environmentally sound technology and management methods.
  • Design, implement, provide and enforce safe systems of work on all projects.
  • Plan ahead by reviewing hazards and complying with relevant client plant safety procedures on all field visits.
  • Encourage safe work behaviours and train all employees and managers in general safety and
  • Involve employees from all levels in the SHE process and this policy.
  • Sustain continual improvement by at least annually reviewing our policy, standards, objectives, and programs with the intent of minimising SHE risks.
  • Provide appropriate resources to implement this SHE Policy including SHE committees, safety equipment, personnel and training. 
  • Commitment to consultation and participation of workers and workers representatives. 

Responsibility and Accountability: 

  • The responsibility for leading SHE and for ensuring the implementation of this Policy resides with Eduardo Construction's MD.
  • Every Eduardo Construction Project Manager is directly accountable for the implementation of this policy on their projects.
  • Equally, all employees have a responsibility to work safely using the training, technological resources and safety equipment provided to them.
