Our BBBEE strategy forms part of our overall company strategy and is uncompromising in its commitment to develop our employees’ skills and potential development as well as to enhance fair and progressive employment practices. Our in-house training facility, accredited by Merseta and the International Welding Institute, demonstrates our commitment and capability to deliver on this imperative. 

Our strategic approach to supporting transformation and inclusive economic growth further focuses on shared ownership, empowering and incubating local black businesses, education and upliftment of the communities in which we operate. 

The development of entrepreneurs is one of the most effective ways of stimulating economic growth, transformation and the creation of jobs in our communities and to this end we are actively incubating two local black owned companies, by providing technical and business development support as well as ongoing mentoring and on-the-job coaching. 

We recognise our responsibilities as a corporate citizen within a broader community which needs upliftment in many areas like housing, education, food, health and general care, with a particular focus on the many needs of children.
